I have started this blog to keep track of my progress towards my goal of working from home.
Who am I? A married woman with two kids who works outside of the home full-time. While in many ways I enjoy having a career, I am tired of the hustle and bustle of juggling a job and a family. Theoretically, we could live off of my husband’s income, but finances would be tighter than I would like. That is one of the reasons I would like to make some money from home.
At the moment I have no definitive plan for when or how I will make the transition to working from home. It’s just a goal, a dream. But rather than just quit my job one day and hoping for the best, I am trying to build up some online income now. My success in that area will certainly play into when I take the plunge to start working from home.
My plan for online income is building niche websites. I built my own website a few years ago, but it’s a personal site with no monetary growth potential. However, it does rank well for the main keyword in Google and I have learned alot along the way, so I am hopeful that I can have some success in building other sites.
I have have just recently started building my first niche sites and will start tracking their progress here soon. Since I have so little free time already, I am not sure when I will be able to work on the template here. Hopefully it will be soon as I hate a generic looking site. In the meantime, for the 2 people that stumble upon this blog, I apologize for the appearance.
