I mentioned previously that I had two videos made, one for my personal site and one for one of my niche sites. Today, I did a quick Google search on my niche site URL and noticed that a video site came up high in the results. When I had the niche video created it was also submitted to 6 video sites, but I had only checked out YouTube.

The video site, Viddler.com, not only had my video, but a live, dofollow link back to my website. I did some checking and found out that Viddler is a PR 6 site. So I signed up myself to submit the video I had made for my personal site.

It turns out that you can include your website in your profile (dofollow) and when you submit your video, you can include an anchor text link in the description back to your website. Also, from your profile there is an RSS feed for video submissions, so I burned a feed over at feedburner and can now submit that to feed aggregators.

Anyway, I thought I would share that for others who have videos. I also get excited to find good dofollow links. Throw in an RSS feed also and I’m almost giddy.

This is what niche site building does to a person.
