Well, shucks. I had started a list of my sites while at work on Friday so I could post them here, but forgot to email them home. Serves me right for doing it at work.
Hopefully I can get the list up on Monday. I’m actually looking forward to having everything all neatly listed to help me keep better track of progress and direction. I also would like to start setting some goals for myself – reaching a certain amount of income by some future date.
In the meantime, I will be working on backlinks this weekend and maybe buying a couple more domains. I had some keywords in niches I like, although the search volume isn’t as high as I would like. I think after that I will have to force myself from buying domains for awhile and just focus on what I have.
I got my first video back but am still waiting for the submissions to be done. I’ll be interested to see if the video ranks at all, I’m really not sure what to expect. I also ordered a video for my personal site, it was half the price of the other one but no submissions included. If the videos work out well I’ll report back.

How did you like your videos? I think I saw that offer on WSO. Looked tempting but I just use Animoto for now.
I’m not familiar with Animoto, will have to check it out.
The $10 video (Clyde Dennis on WSO) was good quality but pretty basic. Just 30 seconds with music and a few images and then the url displays at the end. The $5 video was lower quailty and just types out the content of an article with a synthesized voice-over. It ended up over 2 mins and the url is watermarked at the bottom. It was also in a file type I couldn’t read on media player (had to download another player) so I am a bit concerned others won’t be able to view it.
I guess if I am only trying to get backlinks, then the $5 video is fine. But overall I think the quality of Clyde’s video is better and he does some submissions (still waiting for those results) so I would probably go that route if I did this again.
I’m also working on niche sites. Interested to have found your blog and follow your journey – good luck with building your backlinks and finding some good domains!

Good luck with the videos! I have only made a couple for YouTube but I didn’t do any marketing with them yet.

I’m actually not sure how best to market the videos, so I need to do some research. I remember a guy on WF talking about it once and it sounded good, but I’m not sure I can find the comment again.
