Just a quick thought as I haven’t been working much online this week.
First, my main niche site has dropped back to the bottom of Page 2 in Google and seems to be stuck. I do have a few new backlinks dripping out but that doesn’t seem to have an effect. But what is interesting is that all of my sites seem to be holding their positions. Usually I see some dancing from day to day but for the last week or two the search results seem pretty static. I’m wondering if that is nothing or if Google is up to something.
The fact that my main site is back to Page 2 is getting on my nerves. I actually loaded up some content 2 weeks ago and have a new post publishing once a week till July, but that doesn’t seem to be helping anything. Unfortunately I don’t have time right now to create more BLs so I’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
Anyone else noticing that rankings are stuck?

You know everyone says to let it sit for awhile to see what happens, but how long are you supposed to let it sit for? hmmm
This site is like 1.5 years old so I keep waiting for it to steady.
I just checked and it is #6 right now after days at #18. Maybe I embarrassed it with this post. Let’s see how long it lasts.

I just can’t seem to get backlinks to stick on some of my sites – some get to number 1 for like a day then go back down again. I wonder if they ever stick sometimes!

Kelly, it is a higher comp KW so it isn’t a complete surprise, just frustrating. No packing yet, we won’t close till July.
Ruth – yeah, it’s frustrating b/c you get to a good spot and feel happy and then it all disappears.
Carrie, have you tried any of daniel tan’s WSO’s on getting the #1 spot in G? It sounds all manual, nothing automated is indicated in the WSO…your post made me think of it.
I have no idea if it’s any good, but recall you mentioned WSO’s and what not.
James, I have his one on PR sites and maybe another one? That’s bad, can’t even remember what I buy anymore. Anyway, the last few things I have bought are really nothing new. I think I know the standard techniques, it’s just doing them that is the problem.
Oh, wanted to add that Article Ranks seems to have the effect you’re after re: getting a PR boost (link juice from high end PR sites).
But it’s a moot point considering your next post!
